Hey guys! So my dad and I decided to start a new section called Pinks Corner. Pinks Corner is a section of the site where I’ll write and tell you what’s going on or has been going on. I’ll try to write something about every week, but I may end up being to busy but Ill add as Soon as I can .
I’ll let you guys know how It goes.

April 15, 2008

Well, over the weekend we headed to Winchester SpeedPark, just like old times. It was a pretty amazing weekend. I ended up getting 5th overall in the Women’s class. 24th in the lites c class, which was pretty close to being a fullgate. In the Youth class my bike locked up again for the second time. I ended up doing 7 motos. I did not ride at all over the week which I probably should had because I had mad armpump because I took the week off. For still not being a 100% healthy from the crash I had the weekend before I thought I went pretty good. I’m headed to Southwick this weekend for another Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier, I’ll let everyone know how it goes.

I’m alittle behind sorry about that.

I just wanted to give a heads up and say how things are going. I went Southwick two weekends ago, and last weekend I went to Southwick for the first race of the outdoor season. It did not go very well. I started off going out for practice where the day ended. I ended up crashing and going to pick up my bike and this 450 paniced and slammed right into the back of me. I was backboarded and transported to the hospital where I was in the trauma room for about four or so hours. They ended up taking xrays, asked a lot of questions and I also got an ivy which sucked the most. They thought I fractured my tailbone. Well, I’ll let everybody knows what happens. Thank you.

Hey guys, I know it’s been awhile since I’ve updated on Pinks Corner so here you go.

We headed to Budds Creek where it was a total disaster. It rained nonstop and was a total mess. Everybody was crashing left and right. First Moto did not go so well and ended up crashing after being in a position to qualify. Second Moto wasn’t any better. My grip was coming off after crashing the first Moto, but also not fixing it since the crash at Arena-cross it made it way worse this weekend. Just wanted to fill everybody in on what had been going on.

I also wanted to tell everybody what had happened this last weekend. I ended up going to Elizabeth City for the qualifier there and was a perfect weekend, no rain and wicked sunny and was in the high 70’s, I didn’t want to go home. I ended up with a second and second for the weekend. I was battling for first when I almost went down and that caused her to pull a little farther ahead. We will take second though I am wicked happy with the results especially what had happened the Previous weekend at Budds Creek. I’m taking this next weekend off to spend one last weekend with Family for Easter and headed to practice at Mototown and Southwick, I’ll keep everybody posted.

February 29, 2008

Well, I had a great week of riding in North Carolina. I was pretty excited to go to all of the tracks and ride and see a lot of my friends from down south. I raced in Greensboro, North Carolina Sunday. I ended up with a third overall and second overall for the Toyota Arena-cross series. I’m pretty excited to be heading to Vegas to race down there. I’m going to miss all of my friends that I made over the winter with all of the Arena-cross races, but I’ll see them in a few months. I’m sick right now, but I’m headed to Connecticut to race Mototown where I’m second in the points there. I’ll update on how I do and how I’m feeling.

Feburary 18, 2008

This weekend I had a arena-cross race in Pikeville, Kentucky. It went alright, I wasn’t really in the mood to ride I guess you could say and ended the day with a 4th overall. Crashed in the main event in the whoops section, but no damage done. After, that we headed to North Carolina, where I’m still at I’m going riding all week and I’m going to get a lot of practice for the weekend where there is another Arena-cross race for which happens to be the last race of the season before Las Vegas. Outdoor season is starting which is pretty exciting and I’m headed to Budd’s Creek.

February 12, 2008

Well, the plan was to head to Maryland to ride a full day of practice Saturday at The Landing MX again and to race Budd’s Creek Sunday, but because of weather the plan did not go through. Instead I decided to go to Mototown and get a good day of practice in. The day went pretty good started off a little slow trying to get use to my new knee braces, but the day ended up fast finally got my corners down pretty good and I’m starting to get use to the 250f I’m totally feeling confident from the Collar Bone incident. This weekend were headed to Kentucky to race another Arena-cross race and then my dad and I are headed to North Carolina to ride the whole week and stay for the last Arena-cross race to see if I’m headed to Las Vegas or not. I’ll keep everyone up to date when I get back (:

February 6, 2008

This Weekend we ended up in Hampton, Virginia to race an arenacross race, it pretty much depended on if I was going to Las Vegas or not for the US Open. I did alright ended up with a 3rd overall. The 2nd moto was better out of the two. The first moto I ended up crashing off the start, got a little banged up, but I’m alright. Then a bunch of my moto buddies and I decided to go up to Maryland to ride at a track called the The Landing MX. It started off really muddy, but finally worked itself into a good day of riding. A bunch of us decided to hit this double double section that was pretty big for most people. The first double was about 45 ft and then second double was about 65 ft. I pretty much made history at The Landing, I’m known as the youngest girl to hit that double double. Other then that I had a lot of fun riding and I can’t wait to do it again, I’m suppose to be heading to Maryland to ride again Saturday there and hitting up Budds Creek Sunday, I’ll let you guys know what happened.
